This Castle offers our guests 2 large separate apartments for groups of friends, or two families with children. You will have a large terrace overlooking the sea with barbeque and table for eating in a beautiful Sicilian setting.
The suite also has a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. This villa is located just 3 km from the motorway junction where you can quickly reach the most popular destinations, such as Cefalu' or Palermo. The service staff will take care of the daily cleaning of the swimming pool. 6:00 in the morning. The villa is close to all the town's services such as supermarkets, restaurants, pastry shops.The first equipped beach is located just 6 km from the villa. It is possible to order dinners with the Chef to taste our traditional Sicilian dishes. This villa is ideal for those looking for a holiday in total privacy and tranquility
Altavilla Milicia
The birth of Altavilla Milicia is due to the Beccadelli family from Bologna. Owners of various fiefdoms, at the beginning of the seventeenth century they also purchased the fiefdoms of Mìlicia. Between 1620 and 1623 Francesco Maria initiated the request and obtained the licentia populandi, that is, the authorization from the King of Spain Philip III to found the land of Alta Villa. The urban layout was curated by Mariano Smiriglio, architect and sculptor who created the urn of Santa Rosalia and the sculptural apparatus of the Quattro Canti of Palermo, starting from a pre-existing fortified baglio to which the cannamela mill was attached
The town has a linear, checkerboard urban structure, with an overall "hourglass" shape of the town which was formed over time based on the original Smiriglio project; within the town center there are few appreciable monuments. The lookout and the Marian sanctuary are the main attractions of the town. The belvedere consists of two adjacent squares located at the northern end of the hill on which the town center stands, right in front of the sea. The panorama that can be admired goes from Capo Zafferano to Cefalù, up to the Aeolian Islands. The main street was called via Loreto.
The Diocesan Marian sanctuary, which overlooks the Belvedere, founded in the 17th century, houses the Painting of the Madonna, the work of an artist of Tuscan culture, attentive to Giotto's themes and whose activity dates back to the second half of the 14th century.
